I never thought of it that way. Maybe that's why I hate nerd culture today. The word "nerd" means nothing, because everyone is a nerd, and "proper nerds" are being weeded out, just like punks. I think it's time for me to outright reject the label of nerd. I never really embraced it, and now I don't see a reason to do so.
