They claimed they got rid of the power source that never ends called radium because it was something they like to call 'radioactive' and attributed cancer to it - the problem is it was used ubiquitously in the old world and there are no such masses of deaths. We have records and adverts showing products using radium maybe a hundred years before the Marie Curie character was created and her assorted psyop to banish radium imposed on the people. Everything about the world they created gives people cancer. Everything. Radium obviously didn't.
