It's better to have loved and lost in other words. Generally, because love is a framework that holds us together and expands our horizons. If we're gun-shy, we'll never experience a new gun. If we're drink shy, we'll never have another scotch. If we're dance-floor shy, we'll never dance. Get it together and let the heart grow.
