Here in New Brunswick gas prices have been slowly creeping up in recent weeks, even though the price of oil has been going down. I suspect this is being done in order to sustain higher gas prices once the Carbon Tax comes off on April 1st. Raising prices prior to the removal of the Carbon Tax means once it is removed, we are all back to being at roughly the same price levels. So far, it has gone up by 7 cents here in NB. (1.49 - 1.56)
