Boomers are still using their power of numbers to sustain the status quo, even though it comes directly at the expense of multiple successive generations. They seem to ignore the fact that at some point they will come to heavily rely on those successive generations they screwed over for decades. However, reality will hit them at some point, and it will probably be far too late to matter.
