True Crime Garage The 1977 Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders /// 3 Part Series Camp Scott, located near a small town in Oklahoma, was a 410 acre camp operating since 1928. The camp had facilities for up to 140 children and 30 staff. The camp was most often attended by Girl Scouts. In fact it was marketed to the Girl Scouts as “This is your camp.” After the night of June 13th, 1977 the camp closed forever. What took place that night was horrifying. Parents sent their young, happy daughters to an idyllic two-week camp and they never returned. What was done to those girls can only be described as pure evil. https://www.truecrimegarage.com/podcast/blog/oklahoma-girl-scout-murders-3-part-series
