A Little About Us and the Moss Free Alliance As some of my followers may know, I have a background in the trades and in art/education. In fact, I am currently working to become a certified teacher in the state of Colorado, while sub contracting in glass to pay the bills in the meantime. The plan is to procure a position in a small mountain town and work on our first major goal; acquiring land for the project. Our goal is to raise $20K as a down payment, and through our own resources we are about 1/3 of the way there. My wife Nora is an accomplished journalist and she has worked for major news outlets and well known publications. She will be doing a lot of writing going forward. So, what is the goal of the Moss Free Alliance, MFA for short? We are working to create a #peer2peer network focused on researching and creating solutions. Solutions to what, you ask? Food stability, water resources, affordable self-built housing, cottage industry and the marketing of products, art, community, digital economy..... but a few the things many of us are concerned with. The general structure will be a co-op on at least 35 acres of land, with earthships and perhaps some tiny houses, cabins or the like. There will be greenhouses, food preservation, foraging, small scale animal husbandry, art production, production of pottery and other crafted items and so on.
