The willow cuttings were placed in the bank in two rows. The first about two feet above the water level because the water level still needed to rise before it spilled out the overflow on the far side (top of photo). You can see a portion of the bank collapsed, it was too steep and became unstable. This ends up turning into a major issue as you will soon see. #homesteading #pond #howo #willows #permaculture
