Many of us latinos are third generation or more americans in the valley area of south texas. We are very different than the mexican nationals in culture, the way we speak, the way we conduct our business matters, the way we respect each other. We don't trust people from the other side for a reason and that used to be common thought but now we're called 'racist' or 'implied' we're racist against 'our own kind' but the fact is, WE ARE DIFFERENT: we identify as americans first and latinos/hispanic second, while mexican nationals and illegals see themselves as mexicans/latinos first and americans second.
