Luffas

I'm feeling like my garden is a squash forest right now. For the luffas, I have I think 9 large fruit. I hit my head on these all the time. I mean ALL the time. I'm worried they aren't going to dry though, and I'd actually really prefer not to grow these every year, they take up a lot of space.
