I am 59 years old. I am a double Veteran, having served honorably in the US Army, as an Infantry soldier. After my discharge, I again served as a Police Officer with the Atlanta Police Department, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I was injured in the line of duty, and permanently paralyzed as a result. I have been in a wheelchair for 35 years as of this writing. I am also a double leg amputee, above the knee. The paralysis overshadows that loss significantly.
